Not only does the watch display time in binary, which is inscrutable to 99% of the population, it also shows the "guts" of the circuitry for a somewhat 80's retro tech look and feel. However, the case is extremely rugged, as it is encased in an absurd amount of acrylic. For some, this watch will say: "dork". For others, it will say: "I'm so awesome, I can wear this watch and still be cooler than you. Also, you're a moron because you can't read it." Whether you're an aspiring geek, or a high priest in the technorati, this watch will give you the street cred you would normally get from a pair of glasses or an xkcd t-shirt. And most importantly, it says to women: "I make more money than the guy with the Rolex."
Now, some people might be put off by the fact that this watch only tells you hh:nn, with no date or seconds. You can get other models which give you this information, but no... Read more

I've owned a nooka and a Tokyo flash and I currently like to rock either a phosphor or a click... So basically I'm into pretty nerdy watches that are difficult for strangers to read and will get you a few stray comments when you wear them.
That said this is a nice time piece. It is both sophisticated looking and extremely sporty. The hours are on the first line and the minutes on the second. You add the lights across to figure the time. For example if the 1, 2, and 4 lights are on in the first row and the 32, 16, and 1 lights are illuminated in the second row it is 7:49. You get pretty good at adding fast after about a week but this isnt the easiest watch to use by any stretch. Still it does kind of tickle me every time I use it. If you are a big cribbage or cards player or just like numbers I think this is a sweet idea for a watch.

First of all I fully back up the other buyers of this watch . The appearance is outstanding. There is a large piece of clear acryllic on the face that makes the watch outstanding. The led's are blue and very bright. With a little work the watch can be set up without a problem. There's plenty of lee way in the band. I have a weakness for finding unique watches and finding this watch has satisfied my quest. This is the watch for anyone who wants to make a statement.
